Pastel shades have got to be one of my favourite palettes to look at. They’ve got such a cheerful yet demure charm and, when used as finishing touches, would totally elevate any look! Currently, I’m loving pastel shoes as they’re the icing on the cake (from the bottom up!) to every monochromatic number and colourful combo I’ve seen. But if you find pairing soft-hued shoes with your outfits a bit of a challenge like I do, then let this be your guide to effortlessly harmonise any shade with your look. Read on to see how you can do it:
Is it too soon to say that this is one of my favourite colours of 2021? Blending playful femininity with a prim and proper flair, lilac contrasts green so well! If you’re wondering why this combo looks familiar or is so fitting, it’s because you’ve probably seen it on purple tulips. Though the flower’s intensity may differ, this pairing is still a match made in heaven!

Giving you sky-and-sand realness, these pastel blue heels paired with lively yellow hit the spot with their tropical and beachy feel. When two of these primary colours meet, the union feels oh-so natural. Not only that, its strappy design also gives off a laid-back and effortless vibe of a summer getaway which we love!

Muted greens have such a calming spring vibe to them and make great options to pair with everyday looks. What’s great about these mules is that the comfy criss-cross slip-on style also comes with a unique gold sculptural heel that ups your style game instantly! Match the pair with a touch of grey and you’ve got yourself a minty-cool outfit.

With a different intensity from the mules above, these woven low-heel stilettos have more of a pale ashy tone. The key to working with this shade is by opting for a more vibrant hue that’ll complement and not overpower it. A tone I’d pick is a light lavender as seen in this shot to tie up my look perfectly!

As the lightest of pastel pink shades, this tone and footwear style are essentials for many of us as the almost-nude and versatile slingbacks go with so many pieces in our wardrobe. But to really stand out in ’em, try a full-on pastel pink look with splashes of blue to add a touch of fun to your outfit!

Coming in a super light grey, this pair is guaranteed to work with so many colours you can think of! Aside from that, the sculptural heels embedded with metallic silver threads make for a subtle yet unique twist. Combine this with a pink-toned palette and maybe even a touch of blue for a super chic finish!
