Early last week, news broke out that Ariana Grande and luxury real-estate agent, Dalton Gomez officially tied the knot over the weekend. We loved how the couple decided to keep it hush-hush… until last night, that is! Seeing how particular the 27-year-old singer is about social distancing, we’re not at all surprised that she chose to get married to her 25-year-old lover with less than 20 close friends and family in attendance.

The couple first met early last year when Ariana was looking for a house to purchase in Los Angeles. She thought that Dalton was “cute and very good looking and asked her team to set up a meeting with him” after he decided to step in to help her in her search. After laying low for a few months, the couple made their relationship public last year through the music video for her single with Justin Bieber, Stuck With U, and announced their engagement in December. In a nutshell, after spending plenty of time together in quarantine, Ariana and Dalton knew that their relationship was more than just a Covid romance and so, they went ahead with the plan to get hitched! Here are the three highlights from their wedding that we loved most:

The Wedding Gown That’s TDF

In 2018, when iconic bridal designer Vera Wang attended the Met Gala with Ariana, she mentioned that when the time came, she would create the pop princess’s wedding look, and undoubtedly kept her word. Styled by New York-based fashion stylist, Mimi Cuttrell, Ariana walked down the aisle in a custom lily-white Vera Wang Haute creation that was made of silk charmeuse. From the sculpted neckline to the plunging back, the details of the dress were nothing short of mind-blowing as it hugged Ariana’s petite frame in all the right places! To complete her look, Ari had on a shoulder-length, hand-pleated veil with a delicate satin bow at the top and Giuseppe Zanotti platform heels.

The Wedding Bling That Subtly Sparkles

While her pearl and diamond earrings were created by American designer, Lorraine Schwartz, Ariana’s ring was a custom wedding band from Solow & Co that Dalton had specially designed for her. Jeweller Jack Solow shared that the handmade diamond and platinum pave band was created to complement Ari’s engagement ring. He also revealed how Dalton had a specific design in mind for the engagement ring and went through multiple FaceTime and Zoom sessions with him just to get it down to a T!

The Wedding Venue That’s Oh-So Dreamy

Did you know that the Montecito, California home where Ariana and Dalton’s wedding took place was the same house which Ari purchased from Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, Portia De Rossi last year? Filled with flowers draping from the ceiling, the entire place was magically converted into a wedding location, making it look like the dream venue for a superstar like Ariana to become a Mrs. in. The best part? We loved how she made it look effortlessly glamorous and simply perfect without overdoing it.
