As Earth Day dawns upon us, we’d often find ourselves either spreading awareness on the importance of protecting our planet, making pledges to start living sustainably or even practising it for just one day (baby steps!). If you’re any of the three, good job! Caring for our planet can be challenging especially if you’re just starting out. However, doing good doesn’t have to be daunting as many people see it. So to prove it, we asked five personalities to show us how they incorporate sustainable ways into their daily lives. Here’s a little teaser of their journeys:

Take cues from each of them:

Bay Doucet

As a freelance graphic designer, content creator and model, Bay often looks out for items or ways to be more sustainable. Reminding herself that it’s about intention over perfection, she’s implemented small steps in her lifestyle that help her achieve her goal. She’s even found a way to repurpose her old candle jars and turn them into pen holders – how cool is that?

Fiqrie Dahari

Emcee, fashion enthusiast and former radio DJ and TV host, Fiqrie’s schedule is often packed with work meetings, shoots and events. But that doesn’t stop him from caring for the environment wherever he goes! From bringing his own shopping bags to recycling product empties, it’s a never-ending deed with a positive impact for the earth.

Davina Goh

One of the ways she does that is by bringing her own bottles and containers to refill household products like bleach, laundry detergent and shower gel.

Jasmin Irisha

With simple eco-friendly swaps like bringing her own containers and grocery bags when shopping or packing food, she shows us that a greener lifestyle isn’t that difficult after all!

Seri Mizani
