1. Traders Market

Traders Market, a community market that supports homegrown small businesses in KL, has curated this weekend’s special market just in time for Valentine’s Day. With more than 60 local brands this round, you can expect to see a variety of bath and beauty products, home and living items, jewellery, plants, as well as food and beverages. Whether you’re shopping for a gift for your loved ones or yourself, there’s bound to be something for everyone!

2. Valentine’s Day Bazaar

When: 11th–13th February 2022, 11am–6pm
Where: Kedai KL @ Mahsa Avenue, Jalan Ilmu, 59100 KualaLumpur

Spend a day out with your partner or gal pals at Kedai KL’s pop-up bazaar where you’ll find everything from vegan cosmetics to handmade fashion accessories and clothing as well as artisanal beverages and desserts under one roof. Drop by to support our local creative talents and vendors, and remember to bring your own shopping bag. As the Covid-19 cases are peaking again, always wear your mask (and double mask) at all times!

3. The Singles Project

When: 12th February 2022, 3–6.30pm
Where: Blu Apron, G Floor, Ramada Suites by Wyndham KLCC, 1 Lorong Ceylon, Bukit Ceylon, 50200 Kuala Lumpur

Single, tired of swiping left and right, and still can't seem to find a date for Valentine's Day? Sign up today (or sign someone else up!) for #TheSinglesProject speed-dating event by Blu Apron. Why go on just one date when you can go on many in one shot? At a time when it’s challenging to make social connections, this one ought to be fun and interesting! To register, click here. 4. The Eye Contact Experiment

When: 12th February 2022, 5–7pm
Where: The Square, Level G2, Publika Shopping Gallery, 50480 Kuala Lumpur

Organised by Reconnect & Recharge, The Eye Contact Social Experiment is a public experiential event intended at uniting individuals to rebuild the human connection and a shared sense of belonging beyond the limits of race, religion and background – especially during the ongoing pandemic where social isolation is a major problem and risk factor for depression and suicide – by sharing two minutes of eye contact. 5. Couple Yoga

When: 13th February 2022, 10–11.30am

Get in shape and experience better passion with your partner through a session of couple’s yoga at Yoga Tree. Take on the challenge together with your other half (or whoever you’re coming with) and develop a stronger bond of trust during the 1.5-hour session where you’re welcome to bring your spouse, family, friends or loved ones to share the joy and fun. 6. Paper Heart Workshop

If you happen to be in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on Valentine’s Day, drop by the Vans store for a Valentine’s Day Paper Heart Workshop conducted by commercial paper artist, Dora Harun of DH Paper Art. There are four sessions for you to pick from (12–1pm, 1–2pm, 4–5pm and 5–6pm), and the best part is that the workshop is free and you get to keep the paper heart!
