Tokyo meets New York once again as powerhouses BAPE® and Coach join forces for their second collaboration with a special campaign starring American rappers and songwriters Megan Thee Stallion and Cordae alongside Japanese model and songwriter Kōki.
With the big names donned in the latest collection from head to toe, the campaign was shot by Sandy Kim – a Los Angeles-based photographer who has worked with the likes of Louis Vuitton, Skims and Vans.
Capturing each of the celebrities against concrete rooftop settings overlooking the city (with a few studio shots for Megan and her adorable French bulldog 4oe), the campaign perfectly emulates both brands’ aesthetic as well as the collection itself. On top of that, the collab also comes with videos featuring the cast in intimate conversations discussing the collection, so be sure to look out for them!
Designed to fuse the iconic Japanese streetwear brand’s attitude with Coach’s fine craftsmanship, the range includes ready-to-wear pieces from T-shirts to shorts and windbreakers alongside leather goods, accessories and footwear. Dressed in a limited-edition all-over monogram print that merges BAPE®’s ape head logo with Coach’s signature ‘C’ pattern, a select few of the line-up also comes with a more minimal stamp-like motif we’re sure will be a hit!
